Slow Down

August 15-18, 2024

Spring Grove, MN

Restore and replenish with me this summer in southeastern Minnesota’s beautiful driftless region. We will spend 3 nights on a picturesque 10 acre farm with incredible vistas of rolling hills, valleys, and woods. Located just 3 hours from the Twin Cities, this historic home has been lovingly, invitingly restored and is family owned and operated. Our gracious hosts live full time on the property.

With the solar energy of the late summer in mind, our practices will honor what is needed for balance. After sleeping in a little, or taking a walk at sunrise, we’ll enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Late morning we’ll sink into luxuriously long yoga practices consisting of yin, flow, primal movement, pranayama, meditation, chanting, and extended savasanas. We will not be overscheduled. We will not be busy. You will be encouraged to nap, daydream, gaze inside of yourself, and stare off into the distance. We’ll continue to explore living yoga as we hike, relax on the porch, and eat delicious homemade meals. Let's laugh, and play. Be quiet, and still. And see how it might just increase our capacity for lovingkindness, contentment, and peace.

New this year, we will be joined by my friend Jamie Reinbold who will be offering 90 minute Thai Yoga Bodywork sessions at the retreat for an additional fee. More info on Jamie and Thai Yoga Bodywork here: https://jamiereinbold.com/ When you register for the retreat you will be given the option to reserve an appointment for Thai Bodywork. Spots are limited.
