Women’s Weekend at Big Raven Farm:

Nourish & Restore

September 17-20, 2026

Spring Grove, MN

This is our fourth year at Big Raven Farm, and each year this retreat becomes more grounded and meaningful. Held in the peaceful Driftless region of southeastern Minnesota, an easy drive from the Twin Cities, this is a cozy women’s weekend designed for rest, nourishment, and genuine connection.

We settle into a steady rhythm of care: slow mornings, spacious yoga practices in a beautiful renovated barn, and shared home-cooked meals that anchor each day. The afternoons are open and unstructured, with time to rest, journal, wander the land, head into town, or simply do nothing at all.

Optional offerings include a scenic group hike, a relaxed visit into town, and space for crafts, games, and quiet companionship. Evenings soften with restorative practice or quiet time to unwind.

With a small group (up to 14 guests), a beloved farm dog named Auggie, open landscapes, and a no-pressure atmosphere, the weekend is intentionally unhurried. Nothing is required. Nothing is performance. This is not a boot camp or a schedule to complete - it’s space to land, to be cared for, and to remember a steadier pace.

Some guests return year after year, and there is still space available for this year’s retreat.

  • The rhythm of the weekend

This retreat unfolds gently over four days, with meals anchoring each day and everything else shaped by weather, energy, and the group.

    Thursday - Arrival & landing
We gather for dinner and ease into the weekend with a gentle evening practice.

    Friday - Opening outward
We begin with a steady morning practice, followed by time to explore the surrounding area. Some choose a short hike or wander into town, and there is an optional relaxed visit to a nearby distillery in the afternoon. The day closes with a restorative practice.

Saturday - Deep embodiment & connection
A fuller day with a morning hike at a nearby state park, spacious time for rest and creativity in the afternoon, and an evening of gentle practice and open connection.

    Sunday - Integration & return
A final morning practice and breakfast before departure.

Meals are shared at 9am, 2pm, and 7pm and gently structure the flow of each day.
